John is truly a rising star and someone you should come out to see! He has played the Black Potatoe Independent Music Festival in Clinton and Musikfest in Bethlehem PA among others.
He has also played Artsquest in Bethlehem, where he opened for Rusted Root.
John is a contemporary singer-songwriter, performer, and an original artist. He has the knack of drawing listeners into his provocative world of song and then astounding them with his vocal improvisations. He has the extraordinary ability to scat and vocalize in a jazzy, soulful, funky, rap-like style. His acoustic guitar playing is uniquely percussive and deeply rooted in rhythm.
Within his performances there is something for everyone as he weaves in and out of musical genres with ease and cohesion. John Beacher is simply a magnetic performer whose ability to captivate his audiences is undeniable and powerful.
