Wallet was reported stolen while the victim was playing basketball at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Two teens have been accused of stealing a credit card and using it to buy food and items at convenience stores, Hackettstown Police said.

A 17-year-old Hackettstown boy was charged Monday with fraudulent use of a credit card, credit card theft and theft of movable property. A 14-year-old Belvidere boy was charged on March 21 with the same offenses.

According to Sgt. Darren Tynan, the victim reported his wallet stolen while he was playing basketball at Trinity United Methodist Church at about 10:30 p.m. on March 2.

The police investigation revealed the two teens used a credit card in the wallet to purchase items at Sunrise Dairy Convenience Store, Hackettstown Chinese Restaurant and the Quick Chek, Tynan said.

The teens were charged and released pending court appearances.
