Police: Unhappy IHOP Customer Argues With Manager, Warns Others of Food

Union County man claimed his eggs weren't fully cooked and wanted his entire bill discounted, according to report.

A Union County man argued with an IHOP manager and warned customers of the restaurant's food quality after his eggs weren't fully cooked Sunday, Hackettstown Police said.

Julio Diazvaroas, 33, of Elizabeth, was charged with disorderly conduct after he became upset that his eggs weren't fully cooked at about 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.

The manager agreed to discount the eggs from the man's bill, but Diazvaroas insisted the entire bill should be discounted, according to Tynan.

When the manager refused to discount the whole bill, Diazvaroas "began to yell at customers in the waiting area warning them about the restaurant and the food quality," Tynan said.

Diazvaroas was charged and released pending a court appearance.
