Man Was Disorderly, Cursing in Road, Cops Say

Verbal dispute over friend's girlfriend ends in arrest.

A Hackettstown man was arrested for disorderly conduct when police responded to a reported dispute, Det. Darren Tynan said.

Edison Caceres, 20, was found in the roadway on Grand Avenue cursing and yelling, when police arrived on the scene, Tynan said. Caceres was allegedly yelling at another man, Tynan said.

Caceres had engaged in a verbal dispute with the other male after the other individual allegedly had a conversation with Caceres’ friend’s girlfriend, Tynan said.

Caceres was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
