Man Vomited in Lot, Gave Fake Name, Cops Say

A Pennsylvania man was arrested after providing false information to Hackettstown Police when he was approached while vomiting in a parking lot, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.

At about 10:40 p.m. Sunday, an officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Valley National Bank, Tynan said. Patrol then saw the driver side rear passenger vomiting outside the vehicle, Tynan said.

When speaking with the person in question, police received the name Johnathan Camparese, Tynan said. The officer let the occupants of the vehicle leave at that time, Tynan said.

A short while later, it was realized the name the passenger provided was false, Tynan said. Another officer located the vehicle and conducted a stop, and the passenger in question gave the same name again, Tynan said.

The passenger then admitted his name was Anthony Camporini, 19, of Pocono Summit, Pa., Tynan said. Camporini had a $265 North Warren municipal court traffic warrant and a $500 Hackettstown municipal court criminal warrant.

Camporini was charged with two counts of providing false information to a police officer and lodged in Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 bail.
