Resident Jailed After Third Arrest in Three Weeks

21-year-old Hackettstown man picked up on $500 criminal warrant.

For the third time in less than three weeks, a Hackettstown man was arrested and jailed for an offense, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.

Erik Mitchell, 21, was arrested on a $500 Hackettstown Municipal Court criminal warrant Wednesday, stemming from a charge of possession of a hypodermic needle.

Mitchell was first arrested on Sunday, , they found Mitchell to be in possession of the hypodermic needle which resulted in the warrant for his arrest.

Just nine days later, , police reported.

Mitchell was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
