Booze Party at Mall Leads to Man's Arrest, Cops Say
Hackettstown resident roped off door so police couldn't enter, report states.
A 21-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after throwing a party in a public mall, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
At 11 p.m. on Dec. 23, police responded to the 200 block of Main Street for a report of a large party, Tynan said. Officers found Osbin Mejia-Salazar was hosting a party with alcohol in a public mall, Tynan said.
In addition, Mejia-Salazar used a rope to tie off the front door of the mall to prevent police from entering the building, Tynan said.

When police told party-goers to disperse, Henry Martinez-Perez, 21, also of Hackettstown, would not comply with the orders, Tynan said. Martinez-Perez pushed another party-goer and was intoxicated in public, Tynan said.
Mejia-Salazar was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an official. Martinez-Perez was charged with disorderly conduct.
