Cops: Hackettstown Man Exposes Himself, Masturbates in Front of Kids at Pool

William O'Keefe allegedly did the same in front of an adult woman after community pool incident, police report.

A week after allegedly exposing his genitals to a group of kids under water at the Hackettstown Community Pool, a Hackettstown man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts.

William O’Keefe, Jr., 41, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second degree sexual assault, third degree endangering the welfare of a child and disorderly person offense of lewdness.

On July 2, police responded to the pool after children told lifeguards a man who called himself “Billy” was showing his genitals to them under water and masturbating, police said. The man fled the area before police arrived around 2:30 p.m., however.
