A Hackettstown man was arrested Friday after a paintball he shot struck a kid in the head on Valentine Street, police said.

Joseph Banghart Jr., 44, was charged with disorderly conduct after police determined it was his paintball that struck a juvenile in the ear shortly before 4 p.m. Friday, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
