Disorderly Man Created Disturbance, Cops Say

Hackettstown resident wanted by Warren County Sheriff's Office.

A Hackettstown man created a disturbance in a business and was subsequently arrested for contempt of court, Mt. Olive Police Cpl. Eric Anthony said.

Robert Kennedy, 48, was charged with disorderly persons and contempt of court Saturday after police found him inside a business at Equity Plaza on Rt. 46 in Budd Lake, Anthony said.

When patrol arrived they observed Kennedy inside the business and he appeared to be intoxicated and creating a disturbance, Anthony said. After speaking with Kennedy, patrol learned he was wanted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for a violation of a Superior Court order, Anthony said.

Kennedy was arrested and turned over to the custody of the sheriff’s office and lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.
