Hey, Hackettstown – Welcome to Patch!

You're really going to have a fun time with our site, we promise.

Hey, neighbor!

That’s right, we’re neighbors now. We’re going to share snow shovels, borrow a cup of milk from each other, and talk about all that’s going on in town so we can keep each other informed.

OK, so maybe not all those things, but what we’re trying to say is, welcome to our neighborhood!

We’re glad to be here, and really excited about exploring everything there is to know in Hackettstown. Patch has nearly 900 of these sites spread across 21 states, but locally you can see our community coverage in nearby Long Valley, Mendham and Chester, and your neighbors to the northeast, Jefferson and Hopatcong.

What’s great about Hackettstown Patch is that it’s the first site to launch in Warren County. While this town may seem small–less than four miles in distance and just over 9,000 in population–we’ve got big plans to deliver the news.

The demographics here are diverse, the residents have an immense amount of school and town pride, and the business district is full of great mom and pop stores that have been around for ages.

But Patch isn’t just about us, behind the scenes, covering meetings and events in town, rather, it’s about you.

What do we mean by that?

Without you, the reader, resident, town volunteer, public official, etc., the news doesn’t happen. And Patch is about you and how you can best use our venue to reach your community.

First, you can sign up for our daily, weekly, monthly and breaking news newsletter by going here. Do you have an event you want to put on our calendar? Go here and post it on the site.

Got an announcement you’d like to make–maybe a birth, an engagement or promotion you want everyone to know about? Check out our announcements section and post one of your own.

Like we said, Patch is about you. And that means lending some space for you to be heard. Interested in blogging and talking about local issues that impact you in some way, or just want to post your own sports photos from the last game? Go here and sign up, it’s really easy.

So, in a nutshell, we’re here for you. Patch’s mission is to make the lives of its readers ridiculously easy, and we hope to accomplish that in Hackettstown.

If you’ve ever got any questions, concerns, or just want to say "hey," Hackettstown Patch Editor Jason Koestenblatt is your man. Here’s his full profile, but he can be reached at jason.koestenblatt@patch.com or 908-310-6898.

Thanks for letting us set up shop in your community, Hackettstown. We’re looking forward to making great friends and bringing the neighborhood together.
