Trooper Disciplined for Beating Man Sues State

As the Bayliss family continues to fight the state nearly four years after their son, James, was beaten by state troopers, the saga has taken yet another turn. Now one of the state troopers, Keith Juckett, who was disciplined for taking part in the incident, is suing his employer on the grounds that they exceeded a statute of limitations.

Local Businesses Won’t Add New Credit Card Fee

With a new credit card fee being pushed on businesses, many store owners have to figure out if they’ll be passing the new charge down to their customers or swallowing it themselves. In Hackettstown, so far, no local business has said it will force its customers to bear the new burden.

Fake Fire Inspector Sought by Police
