Mars Inc. Named a Best Place to Work in 2013

Mars–the manufacturer of such brands like M&Ms and Combos–made a splash in 2012, opening its first-ever pop-up store in Hackettstown and having a portion of High Street named for the local business. Forbes Magazine said there’s more to the company than just a great local connection, naming it one of the best places to work this year.

When police patrolled the parking lot of Marshall’s earlier this month, they found a one-year-old baby sitting in the backseat, unattended, with the car turned off and the windows closed. An investigation revealed the mother of the child was shopping in Marshall’s department store. Charges were pressed for endangering the welfare of a child.
