Portion of shoppers' money will benefit Hackettstown girl battling brain cancer.
Donaldson Farms will be helping to raise money for the foundation of a Hackettstown girl battling brain cancer. The Hackettstown farm, located on Allen Road, will be donating a portion of sales proceeds on July 5, 6 and 7 to the Margaret Smiles Foundation, which benefits Margaret Walling. Walling is a Hackettstown Middle School sixth-grader who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January. Since then, several area businesses have made an effort to fundraise for Walling and her treatments. To donate through Donaldson, patrons should visit the Farm Market with the fundraiser flier (attached to this article) on the specified dates. The farm will donate 20 percent of each sale to the foundation.
