Teen Had Heroin at Laundromat, Police Say
Hackettstown resident charged with possession of heroin, hypodermic needle, cops report.
A Hackettstown teen was arrested and charged with possession of heroin Sunday afternoon, according to Sgt. Darren Tynan.
Police were alerted to potential "drug activity" at the Laundry Basket Laundromat at 80 Main Street, Tynan said, but when officers arrived, there was no suspect.
Patrol then located a 16-year-old male along Rt. 46, Tynan said. An investigation revealed the teen — whose name is not being released due to his age — had in his possession a hypodermic needle with suspected heroin, Tynan said.
The teen was charged with possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic needle.
