Snow Storm Closes Hackettstown Schools Friday
Winter blast expected to dump more than a foot of snow on the area.
Hackettstown Public School District decided early Friday morning to close its school buildings Friday, Feb. 8 in advance of the blizzard-like storm expected to hit northern New Jersey.
The annoncement was made just after 5 a.m. as the storm moved into the area, which was expected to last 24 hours between Friday and Saturday.
Any previously scheduled extra-curricular activities have also been canceled.
